Downloading VMware Licenses from the Broadcom Portal

I know. It's been a pain.

Here's how to do it with simple straightforward steps, links, pictures, and unnecessary commentary.

Login to your Broadcom Support Portal: https://support.broadcom.com/web/ecx

1. From the top right dropdown, select "VMware Cloud Foundation"

2. Select "My Downloads"

3. Select your product family, in this case we will choose "VMware Aria Suite"

1. Select "VMware Suite Aria - Enterprise" (You might be thinking to yourself, but "what if I don't have Enterprise?" This doesn't matter at this point; You may or may not have enterprise, but the binaries for Ops, Logs, and Auto are all the same. It's the license key that determines what features/capabilities are avaialable)

2. Click on "2019" (Yeah... it's bizarre that its labeled 2019. This kind of confusing stuff is why I am making this guide. This will still have the latest versions)

Select View Group

1. Agree to the terms and conditions. (Pro life tip: If your ever concerned about terms and conditions but don't want to read them, copy and paste them into ChatGPT and ask it to identify any key potential risks)

2. Select the cloud download icon and your good to go!
